Travel Charme Hotels: 7 Times the Baltic Sea, 7 Times Different
English tea, jungle or perhaps a cruise vibe - at seven places between Kühlungsborn and Usedom on the Baltic Sea coast, you can experience all of that. We present 7 times the Baltic Sea, 7 times different.
Hoist anchor, set sail and hit the sea - the freedom you feel by the sea is unmatched during vacation. Beyond the great freedom, there's more to enjoy at the Travel Charme Hotels and Resorts. Just a few steps from the hotels, you can stroll along the fine sandy beach.
Or you might opt for a promenade with ocean views. Afterwards, relax at the spa or savor a delicious meal made from sustainable, locally sourced ingredients. The Travel Charme Hotels and Resorts are located in seven destinations on the Baltic Sea, meeting individual desires.
Binz: A Spa Town with Tradition
Historic villas, one of the most beautiful bays on Rügen, and the best-preserved examples of spa architecture on the Baltic Sea coast - Binz is not only the largest spa town on the island of Rügen, but also one of the most beautiful. You can admire the villas during a stroll along the promenade.
Located right by the pier is the Travel Charme Kurhaus Binz. For more than 100 years, it has welcomed guests on the island of Rügen - and with this 360 panorama you can experience it right now.
Pure Nature in Prerow
It doesn't get greener: 35,000 square meters of park and garden landscape surround the Travel Charme Bernstein in Prerow. Here you can discover plants typical of the Baltic Sea or imagine being at the Mediterranean. Mediterranean plants are also part of the park and garden landscape.
If you enjoy sports, you can hike, bike, or horseback ride in the 4,700-hectare Darß Forest. This forest is part of the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park and offers a network of over 50 kilometers of hiking, biking, riding, and carriage trails.
Refined Apples in Sellin
The Travel Charme Kurhaus Sellin has a highlight for whiskey and fruit brandy enthusiasts. At the Bar Finale, you'll find spirits made from old apple varieties from the first distillery on Rügen. Traditionally, many apples and pears were grown on Rügen. These were stored in earth cellars and supplied the island's residents with vitamins until spring. In addition to special fruit brandies, the bar also offers a wide selection of fine whiskeys. So the whiskey doesn't get diluted by ice cubes, you can have it served with frozen Baltic Sea pebbles instead.
Nordperd and Villen: Cornwall on Rügen
Tea like in England is available at the Travel Charme Nordperd and Villen. Here, at the Rügen cliffs, you can indulge from breakfast through to dinner. Afternoon tea time is just right after a late breakfast.
Not into cake? No problem: there are also sandwiches, such as those topped with smoked salmon. But if you skip the sweet scones with sea buckthorn jelly, the strawberry jam, and petit fours, you're definitely missing out. To go with all these treats, there are selected teas.
Kühlungsborn: Sailing Ten Knots on the Baltic
Feel like you're on a cruise: while vacationing at the Travel Charme Hotel Kühlungsborn. Not in the hotel, of course, but on the MS Baltica, which sails from the pier to Warnemünde, Rerik, or in the direction of Heiligendamm.
For the Hanse Sail, a gathering of traditional sailing ships, and for 'Lighthouse in Flames,' a light and fireworks show at the Warnemünde Lighthouse, there are special schedules.
Vacation Happiness for All Generations in Bansin
The Travel Charme Strandhotel Bansin is particularly well-suited for family vacations. It's just a few steps from the fine, white Baltic Sea beach. There's also the Capt'n Sharky Club for kids. While they play there, the parents and grandparents can enjoy some time to themselves.
The hotel is also ideal for couples wanting to enjoy the cheerful and relaxed atmosphere together.
Record-Breaking Heringsdorf
From Heringsdorf, an eight-kilometer long beach promenade leads to the other two Imperial Spas, Ahlbeck and Bansin. Since 2011, it's also connected to the promenade of Świnoujście on the Polish side of the island. This makes it the longest beach promenade in Europe. The 'cross-border European promenade' stretches 12 kilometers. The Travel Charme Strandidyll Heringsdorf is located directly on the promenade, surrounded by a park. Another record: The pier in Heringsdorf is the longest on the European mainland at 508 meters.
The year 2018 marks a milestone in the group's history: Travel Charme Hotels & Resorts celebrate their 25th anniversary.
