16 kilometers of beach, nine charming villages, and lots of greenery: This is the community of Schwedeneck in Schleswig-Holstein. Here's what you absolutely should do on your vacation here.

1. Cliff Walk with Sea View of the Baltic Sea

The nature in Schwedeneck is beautiful. You'll notice this as soon as you head to the main town and its surrounding small villages. It's especially pretty at the cliffs in Stohl. Here, a path leads directly along the bluff.

You'll have an unobstructed view of the Baltic Sea, feel the wind on your skin, and even in winter, you can enjoy the sun on your face. The best place to park your car is at the Bülker Lighthouse in Strande, and follow the shore path towards Schwedeneck. It takes you through a charming wooded area and past green meadows.

After the Cliffs, a Beach Walk

Along the way, there are several established options for descending to the beach, allowing you to walk back directly by the water. But be careful: the path above the cliffs is not paved and should not be used in rain, snow, or with a bicycle.

It guides you through forests, past meadows and blooming fields. Depending on the season - whether you prefer walking in the sunshine or having the Baltic breeze in your face, a cliff hike is worth every season.

3. Beach Yoga in Surendorf

Have you ever tried yoga? If yes, you can now enjoy it in a magnificent setting. Even newcomers who want to try the sport without commitment will find this an enriching experience: Beach yoga in Surendorf. The Danishenwohld Adult Education Center offers a course on the spa beach during the summer, which spontaneous visitors can also attend.

The fee of four euros per hour can be easily paid on-site - the sound of the sea is complimentary. You should only bring a mat, workout clothes, and something to drink. And now everyone: Oooomm!

Active in the Sea: Kite-Surfing, Snorkeling, Stand-Up Paddling
