Participation Terms: River Cruise Giveaway A-ROSA 2022

By participating in the contest 'River Cruise Giveaway A-ROSA 2022' (hereinafter referred to as 'contest'), organized in cooperation with bettercities.net, participants explicitly and bindingly acknowledge the following terms and conditions of participation. To check and ensure compliance with the participation terms, first names and email addresses of the participants are stored by bettercities.net. The information must be truthful and is binding. A justified change of information (e.g., official name change) is possible with the consent of bettercities.net. Upon participation, the bettercities.net newsletter as well as the A-ROSA newsletter are subscribed to. Consent can be withdrawn at any time for future effect in the respective newsletter. Personal data is not forwarded to third parties or used for other purposes. By registering for the newsletter, participants consent to user-based tracking. The regulations of the GDPR apply.

Only adult natural persons are eligible to participate and win. Employees of Madsack Travel GmbH & Co. KG and their relatives are excluded from participating in the contest. Also excluded are employees of the respective cooperation partners and all persons involved in the execution of the contest.

The contest takes place from 11/11/2022 00:00:00 until 11/21/2022 inclusive, ending on the last day at 23:59. Participation can occur in two ways: by completing the required fields of first name and email address in the form at: https://formulare.reisereporter.de/reisereporter-flusskreuzfahrt-gewinnspiel-arosa-2022, or by subscribing to the Instagram channel of bettercities.net, liking, and commenting on the post on that channel (https://www.instagram.com/p/Ckz4hLUNH3M/). The information must be binding and truthful for valid participation. Incorrect information or unjustified changes lead to immediate exclusion from the contest according to these participation terms.

The winner is drawn arbitrarily and determined by random selection. From all valid participants, bettercities.net selects the winner for the contest. The winner will be drawn no later than 11/24/2022 and then notified individually via email or Instagram direct message. The contest takes place in the following countries: Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

The winner will be notified via email or direct message on Instagram. The winner has a 7-day response period after the notification to accept the prize. bettercities.net reserves the right to name a new winner or let the prize expire after this period.

The travel destinations and periods are determined by the cooperation partners and cannot be rescheduled by the winners. The prize and included services will only be published on the respective contest day. Prizes can only be redeemed in the form specified by the cooperation partner. The prize applies exclusively to the stated prizes with the components specified in the contest's announcement. A cash payout of the prize or transfer to third parties is not possible. Any additional costs possibly incurred by the prize that are not listed in the contest are to be borne by the winners.

The voucher is redeemable directly with A-ROSA. Travel not included in the voucher. This voucher is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.

bettercities.net has the right to disqualify participants if they manipulate or attempt to manipulate the participation process. Incorrect information or unjustified changes lead to immediate exclusion from the contest according to these participation terms. bettercities.net reserves the right to cancel the contest in whole or in part. Personal data of participants will then be deleted.

bettercities.net is not liable for the insolvency of a cooperation partner or the resulting consequences for the realization and handling of the contest. Any liability from bettercities.net for the existence of the technical prerequisites, timely participation in the contest (e.g., constant access to the website where participation is possible) is excluded.

The prize processing takes place directly with the cooperation partner. The respective cooperation partner of the prize bears the organizational responsibility, books the trips, and is the contact point for processing all travel-related queries and the award of the prize. The respective general terms and conditions of the implementing cooperation partner apply. Any liability of bettercities.net in this context is expressly excluded.
