Good news for 2023: After years where long weekends were not very favorable, things are clearly better now. Only three holidays fall on a weekend-New Year's Day on January 1st, Easter Sunday on April 9th, and Pentecost Sunday. This gives travel fans plenty of room when it comes to vacation planning.
