Easter 2023 will fall on Monday, 10 April, while Palm Sunday will be 2 April. Easter will be high this year. But, let's get one thing out of the way: when is Easter high and when is it not?

As we know, Easter always falls on the Sunday after the spring full moon. Its date was set by the Council of Nicaea in 325. For these reasons, Easter is said to be low if it falls from 22 March to 2 April, medium if it falls from 3 to 13 April, and high if it falls from 14 to 25 April.
