1 - Tropea, Calabria
Beautiful beaches, crystal-clear water, natural attractions such as the famous Blue Grotto: Tropea is this and much more. Its famous village perched high above the sea offers many possibilities for young people to spend evenings and nights of fun.
Compared to the most famous destinations in the boot, all in all, in Tropea you can spend a summer holiday without spending too much money. If you book in advance and settle for a small b&b, you can save some budget and then enjoy the movida.
The average cost of an entrance to a disco is about €15.00, a cocktail on the beach about €8.00.

2 - San Benedetto del Tronto, Marche
Photo by Luigi936. San Benedetto del Tronto is the most important centre of the Riviera delle Palme: it has been a Blue Flag town for over 15 years, and perfectly mixes maritime relaxation with nightlife. In addition to this, it hides unquestionable beauties such as the Torre dei Gualtieri and the Cathedral of Santa Maria della Marina, and has a seafront promenade about 6 km long lined with lush gardens.
This, of course, has resulted in its rise as a top Italian summer resort, so it will be difficult to find low-cost solutions: in short, better to book in advance and resign yourself to putting your hand in your wallet!
The average cost of an entrance to a disco is around €18.00, a cocktail on the beach around €10.00.

3 - Alghero, Sardinia
The splendid area known as the Coral Riviera is home to magnificent beaches: in Alghero we find Le Bombarde, Mugoni, Lazzaretto and Cala dell'Argentiera, with a truly enviable sea. After sipping a cocktail directly on the sand, the nightlife continues in one of the well-known discos or clubs.
As with all Sardinian resorts, unfortunately the cost of travel adds a little to the holiday package, but otherwise, despite its beauty, Alghero remains an affordable destination. If you book in good time, you can save money on accommodation, and the cost for leisure and entertainment is not excessive. An entrance to a disco is around €15.00, a cocktail or aperitif on the beach under €10.00.

4 - Milano Marittima, Emilia Romagna
Photo by Leo Prati. The place for fun par excellence, Milano Marittima is every year the favourite destination of thousands of young people who love to sunbathe in the afternoon and dance until dawn at night! dance until dawn! The discos in Milano Marittima attract boys and girls from all over Italy, and are also well suited for occasions such as bachelor and bachelorette parties.
It is clear that its status as a super VIP destination pays off.... It is therefore one of the most expensive summer destinations in Italy, and even the nightlife, between bars and clubs, is not so cheap. You will hardly get into a disco for less than €20.00 and you won't spend less than €10.00 for an aperitif on the beach. But if you are looking for the ultimate in fun...

5 - Ischia, Campania
A splendid island in the Flegrean archipelago, Ischia not only has a really beautiful sea but also a very interesting town: Castello Aragonese. Museums, thermal baths, parks but also breathtaking sunsets and... a nightlife full of possibilities and fun!
Thesummer crowds the island terribly, and it becomes a veritable anthill, so book in time to avoid costs skyrocketing. However, Ischia proves ready to welcome holidaymakers with a rich proposal both in terms of accommodation and entertainment and nightlife. And the costs, all things considered, remain affordable: an entrance to a disco is around €15.00, a cocktail on the beach even less than €8.00!

6 - Gallipoli, Apulia
Known as the'Pearl of the Ionian Sea', Gallipoli offers a nightlife that is in no way inferior to that of Riccione and the Riviera Romagnola in general: start with musical aperitifs, then move on to renowned cockatil bars and finally choose one of the various local discos.
As the fulcrum of the Salento summer, Gallipoli is home to some of the most sought-after discos and lidos, even by national and international DJs: Sunrise, Samsara, Zen are just some of the places where you can go wild until dawn.
Nevertheless, Gallipoli can be a low-cost summer destination. Be careful, however, to book well in advance, otherwise prices will go up even more than 100 per cent.
The nightlife,on the other hand, is a little more expensive than in other southern Italian destinations: disco entry around €20.00, aperitifs on the beach around €10.00.

7 - Jesolo, Veneto
Photo by Annia316. Another favourite destination for night owls: the city of Jesolo is full of discos and clubs. After spending the day at the seaside or at the Aqualandia water park, the evening can begin by sipping an aperitif at the historic Capannina Beach and continue at the Muretto, another Jesolo institution.
Here too, however, one has to deal with the costs of a summer week: Jesolo is certainly not on the list of low-cost summer destinations. Both accommodation and the prices of daily entertainment here are quite high. Disco admissions are over €20.00 and an aperitif on the beach easily exceeds €10.00. But if you are looking for a VIP summer week, you are in the right place.

8 - Taormina, Sicily
A town in the province of Messina known for its splendid sea but also for its natural landscape and historical monuments. And that's not all: Taormina is a much sought-after place for young people and those who want to spend nights having fun with friends.
Taormina can be considered the perfect compromise for those seeking fun, yes, but also a cultural and relaxing holiday. There is no shortage of nightlife, but don't expect the discos of Milano Marittima or the lidos of Jesolo. Instead, expect Sicilian sea, Mediterranean atmospheres, good food and dreamy places. And if you book early, you might even keep costs down and not spend a penny!

Source: wikimedia commons. Viareggio, but also nearby Forte dei Marmi, is teeming with clubs and discos: many young people from all over Italy go there to spend pleasant holidays or even just a short weekend, savouring the'mood' typical of this area, often frequented by VIPs.
And if it is often frequented by VIPs ... it automatically means that the costs will also be VIPs. Nor can Forte dei Marmi be considered a low-cost destination, quite the contrary. It is one of Italy's most expensive summer destinations, both in terms of accommodation and cost of living. Discos, aperitifs and cocktails are expensive here, but the entertainment offer is among the richest.

10 - Elba Island, Tuscany
Source: wikimedia commons. The Island of Elba + another Tuscan resort popular with young people. Besides offering plenty of nature and a beautiful sea, it offers a wide variety of lounge bars, discos and clubs where you can listen to live music.
Enchanting beaches turn into lidos where people dance until dawn, discos fill up with young people, and hotels sell out months in advance.
Even here the costs are not low, accommodation costs a bit, especially if you do not book well in advance. As far as nightlife is concerned, on the other hand, all in all we are on sustainable figures, with many discos even free or with costs in any case around €15.00, and cocktails/aperitifs on the beach under €10.00.
