The capital of the Czech Republic is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway. Prague is affordable and attracts visitors with its magnificent buildings as well as parties.

Accommodations are quite affordable and easy on the travel budget: You can stay in budget hotels or boutique hotels, or book a dirt-cheap bed in a hostel. We take you to the most inexpensive accommodations in Prague.

Czech Inn

In a renovated 19th-century building, you'll find the 'Czech Inn', one of the most affordable hostels in Prague. From large dorms to double rooms, everything is available here. The setting is beautiful: The hostel exudes a lot of historical charm with high ceilings, arches, and exposed brick walls.

Breakfast is served in the brick cellar, and fun comedy nights are held at the bar. A bed in a four- to twelve-bed dorm is available from around 19 euros, a double room from 65 euros.

Sir Toby's

In the trendy suburb of Holesovice lies the equally trendy 'Sir Toby's'. The hostel is housed in an elegant Art Nouveau building and, in addition to standard dorms, also offers a handful of private rooms. It only takes 15 minutes by tram to get to the center.

Fun fact: Musicians can stay for free if they entertain other hostel guests in return. A bed in a six-bed dorm is available from around 26 euros, a double room from 80 euros.

Mama Shelter Prague

One of the most famous low-budget hotel brands is 'Mama Shelter'. With locations in 16 cities, the hotel group knows exactly how to attract its audience. Located in the Holesovice district, on the opposite riverbank of the center, the rooms are small, but there's a lot of hustle and bustle in the public areas.

The hotel includes a restaurant, a bar with regular DJ sets, and a rooftop terrace with a great view over the city. The double room is available from around 59 euros.

Guests can book a PlayStation or pinball machine in the game room or enjoy delicious burgers, pizzas, and steaks in the 'Pentalounge'. The double room is available from around 111 euros.
