'La Rocca Camping' in the Bay of San Pietro is right on Lake Garda and is rightly considered one of the most beautiful campsites in the region. The five-star facility opened in 1961 and has recently been transformed into a state-of-the-art top site. In addition to pitches, there are mobile homes and luxury bungalows. The XXL pitches, with an area of up to 130 square meters, are also very popular.

The campsite is one of 17 campsites and holiday villages from 'Lago di Garda Camping'. At the Pincamp Awards 2025, the facility won in the 'Rental Accommodation' category. This award recognizes the commitment to creating unique vacation experiences with modern facilities and unmatched hospitality. Innovations making this possible include the 'Garda Bubble,' launched in 2022: three spaces connected by transparent domes.

2025 brings some new highlights. Comfort and luxury are offered by the 'Royal SpaGlamp' pitch with 300 square meters, a private bathroom, bio sauna, whirlpool, shaded dining area with grill, sink and minibar, loungers, and a hammock. New as well is the teen club for young people with numerous indoor and outdoor activities, and a dog zone covering 300 square meters.

Not only on the weekend is the 'Weekend Glamping Resort' a perfect destination for campers. The terraced facility is located near San Felice del Benaco with a stunning panoramic view of the Bay of Salò. A wide range of activities is available: water sports, aquapark, sauna, entertainment, and swimming and diving lessons for children.

Spacious pitches with electricity and drinking water hookups are available, ideal for tents or caravans. Additionally, there are RV and caravan sites equipped with EWG power connections, drinking water hookups, and gray water disposal. Some have their own bathrooms. Those preferring can also book glamping accommodations. On-site are eleven air-conditioned bungalows ranging from 20 to 45 square meters, each equipped with a bathroom, sofa, TV, and outdoor area.

On the west shore of Lake Garda, nestled in a park-like green setting, is the 'Fornella Camping & Wellness Family Resort' right by the lake. Spaces are available for RVs and tents in three different sizes. The smaller pitches are 60 square meters in size, while the largest is 140 square meters. Two beaches are quickly reachable from the site. The focus is on families: Lots of fun awaits children with animation, a kids' club, and sustainable workshops and excursions designed specifically for families.

In 2025, 31 mobile homes and three tents were replaced with new models that are more spacious and comfortable. Arrivals and departures have also been made more flexible. Now, depending on the selected accommodation category and adherence to minimum stay options, checking in and out is possible daily except for Tuesdays. Wellness is more centered as well, with a wellness spa featuring a hydromassage, sauna, vitarium, Turkish bath, experience showers, and a fitness room.

At the 'Lemon Riviera' in Limone sul Garda is the 'Camping Park Garda'. The area is famous for its panorama: steep cliffs seem to plunge into the water, surrounded by lemon groves and olive trees. Thus the region is known as Riviera dei Limoni. Pitches are available for caravans and tents, as well as bungalows and chalets with kitchens. The pitches are spacious and equipped with electricity and water connections.

The campsite offers many recreational opportunities and activities: a large swimming pool with a separate children's pool, a playground, a tennis court, a soccer field, and a beach volleyball court. On the premises are a pizzeria with a wood-fired oven and panoramic terrace, a restaurant specializing in fish dishes, and a mini-market.

In Lazise lies a superlative on Lake Garda: Spiaggia d'Oro is the only sandy beach on Lake Garda. A vacation at 'Camping Spiaggia d'Oro' promises an extraordinary atmosphere. The pitches at the campsite are grassy, with many trees providing shade during summer. Those looking for a beautiful pitch and lots of fun and entertainment in a camping vacation will find it at 'Camping Piani di Clodia'. The club-like facility near Lazise is known for lots of water fun and an extensive recreational offering. The campsite offers a water park with 14 slides, multiple pools, and extensive lounging areas.

The five-star holiday park offers 890 pitches for caravans, RVs, and tents. Those seeking more comfort can rent a bungalow or maxicaravan with up to six sleeping accommodations. The vacation promises lots of entertainment: animation, themed shows, cooking classes, sports tournaments, a fun academy for kids, a large fitness area, or the new mini-spa with a Turkish bath, whirlpool, and sauna.

A family-friendly atmosphere awaits at the 'Villaggio Europa Silvella' campsite, located near the village of San Felice del Benaco on the hills of Lake Garda's southwestern shore. The facility has been in operation for over 60 years. Vacationers have pitches for tents and RVs right by the lake available. There are five different categories of mobile homes, from basic to top, each with its own terrace and some with direct lake views.

The vast grounds offer plenty of entertainment. The large pool and sports area are family-friendly, with a colorful program of festivals, a mini-club, fitness, yoga, sports tournaments, and more. Sports facilities include a soccer field, tennis, beach volleyball, and basketball courts, as well as a modern fitness center. Recently, a glamping area has been added to the site.

A popular spot for a camping vacation is Lazise on Lake Garda's east shore. A fantastic campsite, especially for families with children, is 'Idea Lazise Camping & Village', located south of Lazise's historic old town. The campsite is relatively small, providing a familiar atmosphere.

The pitches are terraced across the site, offering lake views from everywhere. A wide selection of modern mobile homes and villas with comforts, as well as various categories of pitches, is available. Visitors can even rent a private bathroom. Located on a hilly peninsula overlooking Lake Garda, the 'Camping San Biagio' is nestled among exotic plants and deciduous trees. The setting here is unique: the campsite is surrounded by water on all sides. There's a private jetty, allowing many campers to arrive by boat.

The terraced campsite features 161 sites, with bungalows and house tents also available for rent. Facilities include an on-site restaurant; nearby, one will find a tennis court, horseback riding school, boat rental, and more. Especially cool: the private island Isola dei Conigli (Hare Island) can be reached on foot when the tide is low.

On Lake Garda's southern shore, not far from Desenzano del Garda, lies the 'San Francesco Camping Village', surrounded by stunning mountain views. The five-star holiday village offers both pitches (available in the front row right by the water) and comfortable mobile homes with a private Jacuzzi on the terrace.

The facility is nestled in greenery, yet a short walk along the lakeshore promenade quickly reaches the center of Desenzano del Garda. Water fun awaits at the private beach and two other beaches reachable on foot. Additionally, there's plenty of entertainment and an extensive bathing landscape with a large pool and water spray park.

Right on the lakeshore with a sandy and gravel beach, about three kilometers from Lazise and one from Pacengo, lies the beautiful facility of 'Camping Belvedere'. The site is spacious and lushly landscaped. Various sizes of pitches and bungalows and mobile homes for up to six people are available.

A path leads to Lake Garda, but the large pool with slides and a whirlpool area also provides lots of fun. Sports amenities include a soccer, volleyball, and tennis court, and a table tennis table. The facility houses a restaurant and a playground for children.
