Walnut Street Bridge
Posted by Drew on 30 Aug 2010
The Walnut Street Bridge, built in 1890, was the first bridge to connect Chattanooga’s Downtown with the North Shore. The bridge was closed to motor vehicles in 1978 and has since been restored and repurposed as a pedestrian crossing that connects the both sides of the Riverwalk. Photo Courtesy of Sitephocus.com.
