New Urban Network

New Urban Network has created a new page that features recent urban design projects at any scale, anywhere in the world. The first four Plan of the Month selections are highly diverse, including: “low carbon” urban design for China; a redevelopment plan for the capital of the US Virgin Islands; a pocket neighborhood of cottages in West Concord, Massachusetts; and a transit-oriented development on Long Island, New York.

New Urban Network will select a new Plan of the Month each month. We welcome submissions, which should be sent to us via email with the subject line Plan of the Month. The selection will be at the discretion of the editors. We’re looking for plans that are interesting, that meet social, environmental, and market-oriented needs, and that are well drawn and thought out. Plans may include a form-based code. Academic or professional plans are welcome.

See the Plan of the Month in the New Urban Network menu under topics.
